Louisiana Craft Brewers Week returns this year September 22nd through 28th. In conjunction with that, fellow food and beer blogger Jay Ducote of Bite and Booze is teaming up with all 9 south Louisiana breweries to host a Louisiana Brewers Bash. The event will be held at The Irish House in New Orleans on Wednesday, September 24th from 6-9PM. The breweries in attendance will be 40 Arpent, Abita, Bayou Teche, Chafunkta, Covington, Gnarly Barley, NOLA, Parish, and Tin Roof. Each brewery is bringing two beers, and there should be some one offs available. I know the Gnarly Barley/Chafunkta collaboration will be available, and NOLA is bringing a barrel aged Galaxy dry hopped saison. As I hear about other beers, I’ll be sure to update this post. It’s sure to be a great time with some outstanding food and a celebration of Louisiana craft beer. Get your tickets here. I know I’ll be there, and I hope to see some familiar faces as well. |
