Today we just have two beers for New Beer Friday. More may come in later in the day – keep checking back for updates. Anderson Valley Fall Hornin’ – Havn’t tried this one yet. It’s described as having inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. 6.0% ABV @ DABC Avenues Proper Wetter Off Red – Not tried this one yet either. It’s an American Red Ale hopped with 100% Amarillo from Oregon. They were shipped overnight and put into the beer less than 24 hours from coming off the bine. The aroma is grassy with some caramel malt and light citrus. The flavor continues this with a solid malt backbone accented by sweet resin and light stone fruit. The finish is bitter and juicy. Truly a seasonal ale, and in limited supply, so get it while it’s here! 4.0% ABV @ Av
