From an email: February 5 – Union Tap Takeover – Only keg of Union Barrel-Aged Chessie in DC, Snow Pants and Chessie verticals, more!
We’ve long been fans of everything coming out of Union Craft Brewing in Baltimore. Thanks to some help from co-founder Adam Benesch, we’ve acquired a slew of rare and vintage kegs. We will be showcasing these along with a number of seasonals and outstanding year-round offerings on Thursday, February 5.
Highlighting the list will be the only keg of Barrel-Aged Chessie American Barleywine to come to DC and only the third to leave the brewery!
We’ve also dipped deep into Union’s vintage stash to put together a 2012-2014 vertical of Snow Pants Imperial Oatmeal Stout as well as 2013-2014 Chessie.
We will also be tapping:
Sweat Shock, a dry-hopped malt liquor brewed as a tribute to the Baltimore-based J Roddy Walston and The Business
Balt the More Sticke Alt, an 8% altbier brewed to celebrate Union’s 500th batch of beer!
