So, yeah. Hi. We’ve been AWOL. Sorry about that. There are lots of excuses, reasons and whatnot. The main culprit though – if you can call her a culprit – is my new daughter. Beer Scout Den Mother and I welcomed a new baby girl at the end of June. Preparing for her arrival and going about our lives with her two big brothers have pushed this website to the backburner, and damn near off the stove.

While things may be slow on the KC Beer Scouts website for a while, this Saturday is a big day for the brewing scene in KC, and in the Crossroads particularly as Torn Label celebrates the third anniversary of their tap room and Double Shift rings in three years altogether.
